Driving the capri is the most fun you can have in a car with your cloths on. Parts are quite hard to come by now but never the less i wouldn't change it for the world.!. The 2.0 pinto engine is good solid unit but could be more powerfull. There are still plenty of mods availble for the pinto and they are not massively expensive. There are also lots of different engine convertions you can do includeing V6, V8 or cossie transplants.

Its a Capri....there aint many around and it turns heads....plus i love 80s fords,been into them all my life and ive always wanted a capri from a very young age,plus its a 2.8i V6 so its not exactly slow but not fast fast either....its a cruisers car but fun when u want it to be !!!

This is my current daily driver, a 1984 1.6 ls .This no doubt is the most solid capri I have owned (and I've had several!) ,but also one of the slowest. This is soon to change with the help of a RS2000 Mk5 spec I4 DOHC engine to be running carbs. This should make the driving experience a little more up to modern standards. Until then it's just plodding on with the paltry 72bhp

Bought it for £200, bargin. Spend loads a time but little money on it. When i eventually could afford to run it was slightly worth it. A 1.6 engine did nothing really, but sounded great as the exhaust was broken. Looked great and was cool but was lacking power and reliability.
