Used Mercury Cougar for Sale near Alberta

this was my first car been restored two times now but it is still in the garage owed it for 28 years now It has a 429 cid auto trans a/c p/s p/b and cruz control all factory in picture it has chrome wheels but it now has keystone 5 star wheels ran 12,s in the 1/4 cruzs great makes 17 mpg at 60 great to drive and there are not many cougars left alot where used for parts to restore mustangs there is also a sister car to mine in the garage that we bought in 01 its a 351cj auto p/s p/b anouther great cruzer ran 13.4 in the 1/4

Great acceleration! Great Braking! O.K Handling! Build Quality Seems To Be Good! Rust is the only enemy! Interior styling is good! Very comfy and elegant with a hint of performance! Exterior looks good. Great from the sides and the back (muscle car looks), but the front looks like it would fit in at a country club in the 70's! Decent car for ownership costs. Fun Factor: AAAAA+++++ It has the optional 351 Cleveland 4v engine with a c6 3speed automativ transmission, complete with shift kit and a performance hi-stall torque converter. And it sounds heavenly at idle with its cam and nice 2.5" dual exhaust!

Great looking car with "not bad" performance from a 351W engine mated to an automatic transmission. This was a typical early '70's pony car that was relatively fun to drive and was a good looking unit as well. For the time, it was pretty reliable, but it didn't retain it's value very well. By the time I traded it off on a brand new 1977 VW Rabbit, it had dropped down to a value of about $900 at the Mercury dealer and $1200 at the V-Dub dealer (ergo, no Bobcat!! - thank God)
