Called for a pre-2010 luxury as-is sedan to ask about details of the car (specifically asked about any transmission and engine issues). Couldn't get enough mechanical details over the phone and was told I need to come in physically to inspect. Journeyed 1hr 20mins for this and then noticed the transmission may need rebuild in the near future so wanted to know how much extra this would cost me; I called up to 3 transmission workshops. Turns out you can't get after market parts for that model anymore.
