My 2005 scion

My ex wrecked my car on the passenger front side.
Well i had someone do some work and he welded
something under there . Everytime I drive it , it
sounds exactly like a car would before getting into
a accident , like the loud screeching of the breaks .
Should I try to get it fixed or sell it
