2003 Saturn Ion Quad-Coupe transmission fluid level plug location

My new 2003 Saturn Ion says my transmission is "HOT TRANS" when I
reach about 75-80 MPH on the highway.  I am 23, and just out of college
and cannot pay for a garage to work on it.  I have everything to my disposal
except $$$ (shop, tools, etc...), but knowledge is my issue.  the parts store
says its probably to much trans. fluid and needs to be leveled off (New-
Used car).  

I am trying to locate the level plug.
Does anyone know of any other possible solutions or ideas to this issue?

Also, this electrical plug is coming out of the transmission (PICTURE
ATTACHED) does anyone know what its called?
And any ideas on how to fix this loose connector?
