i cannot seprate the front drive shaft CV joint from the transfer case on a 2006 saturn VUE AWD, any suggestions??

looking for real help here please,everything else is out and on the ground, but the CV joint will not separate,is there a trick to it?

Thanks we are talking about the drive shaft that goes to the back wheels not the front drive cv joints, right?

My problem is with the driveshaft that goes from the transfer case to the back differential.
