I just got my 2022 Kia Sorento.  How do I set the interior lights to come on
either when I unlock the car or when I open the door?

Read the owners manual. There should be a section on accessing the menu section and choosing settings.

It's a new car. Instruction on how to use it is part of what you paid the dealer for..... If you can't fine it in that 400 page owners manual, ask the dealer.

People are so rude!!! In case you stumble on this post with the same question in the future, like I did, there’s a button beside the ceiling lights in the front seat that has an icon of a car with an open door and a light icon. Click that button so that your lights come on when the doors open.
