I have a 2000 lexus es 300 . I put the highest grade but sometimes my check engine light comes on.Now once in a while when I do 60mph my speed doesn't switch .what could be the problem?

How many miles on the car. If you have over 100,000 one possible issue could be the O2 sensor. I would take the car to your local auto parts store and have them put it on the scanner and see what comes up. Most places will do this for free.
