The driver's side front door does not unlock from the outside. Can this be fixed?

The driver's side front door does not unlock from the outside.  The door does open from
the inside.

With a key or key fob remote? If it is with a key get a can of wd40 and spray in the key hole and on the key and keep working it until it unlocks. If with a key remote the door lock actuator is bad in that door.
