Missing plug for check engine diagnostics.

I have a 1995 Mustang GT 5.0 and for some reason the female part of the engine diagnostics plug is missing from under the dash? Looks like wires are there but, plug missing. My check engine light keeps illuminating and I have no way to read it??!!

Most of the 95 gt's were obd 1 with the diagnostic connector in the engine compartment. OBD2 wasn't standard in the gt until the 4.6 engine in 96. You can still read the codes you will just need the older style scanner.

Thank you, I have had a 2000 GT and 2 1998 GT's and I didn't realize it was in a different place.
