My 95 mustang won't start

Asked by Shweedmastr Jul 21, 2018 at 03:12 PM about the 1995 Ford Mustang GT Convertible RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving my car on the freeway to go to work
and my ground wire for my battery snapped and
my car shut off and stopped working so I got it
towed and I fixed the ground and got power to the
car and still no start so I found out the fuel pump
went out and I fixed that and it started right up but
sounded alittle funny like the timing was off and so
I let it run for 10 minutes then I shut it off and tried
to start it and nothing not even a crank for the
starter but the power was on and everything else
was fine so I replaced the starter and I found out I
have no starter solenoid so I traced the wires from
my starter back to my battery and so i connected
my new wire for the sve mini torque starter from
lmr and when I went to see if that would work ( I
didn't think it would ) my starter just sounds like it's
trying to turn and connect but it doesn't have the
power and when I do this there's no power to any
of my gauges now and it doesn't even turn power
on through my whole car. I'm lost and need help
please

The battery is a year old and it's been tested and it's perfect and it's not in the best shape should probably replace it soon
