Release hood and trunk levers

Asked by GuruTWKBQ Jun 18, 2018 at 03:51 PM about the 2000 Porsche Boxster S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 Boxster X and have lost the keys.  I am inside the car, alarm is
off but I can't lift the levers to open the trunks.  The key is in the trunk!  The
lock key lug nut is in the trunk with the key

Why can't you operate the trunk release? You probably need to call AAA.

Apparently FOR works for AAA because that's the only advice I've seen them dispense.
