my alternator died on my 2004 porsche cayenne s. so i removed battery and
had it charged as well as replaced alternator. it took 3 weeks to get parts while
the car just sat there with no battery. whats going to happen when i try to start it

hopefully it'll fire right up , if it doesn't the computer may have to be " flashed " or something , let us know

That long without power it will need to be flashed to get all the systems back up and running.

well it didnt need to be flashed. it actually started right up. it did take about an hour of driving for it to relearn everything. now i have another problem. the transmission started leaking fluid, so i decided to pull valve body and upgrade/repair valve body. in doing so dropped it ultimately ruining it. so i have another one i took it apart to make sure there was no problems with it and clean it out. putting it back together i realized i dont have the torque spec for the body itself or the mounting it back in transmission. theres about 25 or so bolts holding it back together and another 15 for mounting inside transmission. i have looked everywhere for a book what i can find doesnt give me much info. there is one that would help but not going to purchase a shop manual for $1500. if anyone knows what the specs are it would appreciate the help.
