I would say no, not with a major overhaul somewhere in between 0 and half a million miles maybe even two. They seem to have lots of issues and are very costly to repair. I personally love Porsches but I would never buy the Cayenne I would get a Lexus if I wanted to do a half million miles on it.

Yes. Having worked on Porsches, both air and water cooled, it is not out of the question. The key is preventative maintenance and using the best products. This includes synthetic fluids and quality replacement parts. Change oil and filter at 7500 miles. Flush all other fluids every 3 years. Fix things right away when you notice something. Best built cars around.
