Replacing Relay Harness Wires

Asked by MyBubbaJJ Aug 26, 2017 at 01:34 PM about the 1995 Pontiac Firebird Formula Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My relay fuse box has been sabotaged by my X.... He took out
some of my relays AND the metal clamp wire harnesses they
are attached to coming out the back of the fuse box.... So i
bought the missing relays... Which are useless without the
wire things . so here's my question. Where do I get those
things .... What do i. Ask for ? Where do i go? Is it possible to
just easily replace the wires... He is a mechanic who drives a
1995 gmc jimmy... So he took them to use on His car. (The 2
cars relays are compatible) i say this because it gives you an
idea of how he extracted the wires as to how i can fix it. Hope
all this is clear . please help. Thanx.

Was this done with malicious intent? Have you thought about filing a police report? If you do then you can file an insurance claim and have repairs covered. Of course any missing parts can be replaced, but if he hacked wires good luck, it may take a pro to piece back together.

i'd use a factory manual for reference and reattach the right colored wires to the spot indicated. quite a pain but do-able. some contact points may need to be rebuilt. good luck and pay close attention to the manual diagram.
