Autozone tested car came up with code 11 what is the cheapest route to repair

I'm assuming that the code is P0011. This refers to camshaft position timing, and it is an "over-advanced" trouble code. You can replace the camshaft position sensor, but it is also possible that the cam has actually jumped the timing belt. This will almost always result in the engine timing being 'over-advanced'. If the car is high-mileage, and never had the belt replaced, that would be a good place to start. But be prepared to replace the belt tensioner and camshaft position sensor also.

There is no code 11. There is a code 12 which is a system pass code no problem.

You're correct, there is no code "11". However, the only code ending in 11 that would cause a steady engine light and poor performance is P0011.
