Id really like to know what is stopping my car from going really fast. the
speedometer only goes to 140 but it revs back at 115. would this car have a
Governor or a chip? If so how could I get around that? I'm also planning on
doing a tune up, so what needs to be done?

Yes I am asking about the 97 Pontiac. when you get going into a certain speed the car acts like its gonna die cause of the speed limiter.
