Where is transmission fliud
dipstick located  for a 98 pontiac
sun fire,( how do I ck to see if fluid
is low??

For the automatic you can find the dipstick in the engine compartment next to the brake fluid canister on the right side of compartment (facing engine). It normally has a red handle.

With engine at normal running temp remove dipstick and wipe clean, then reinsert and remove. Check dipstick for current level. Should be between min and max to be ok. Leave engine running while checking fluid.
