what causes a 1998 Firebird Trans Am to start only one or twice in the morning then won't start till nite or so, intermittent starts

Bad injector(s) can cause this. With the injector wiring warmed up from the engine, resistance goes up, grounding becomes erratic, and injectors stop firing. http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/tpi/291499-every-few-months-tpi.html
