1999 pontiac firebird wont start

have a 1999 Pontiac firebird v6 that it was running good until last summer start feeling like it was loosing power , then started to back fire then one day it would not start anymore , I was told that the coil packs went bad so I put new whole set but still does the same thing , can you help me figured this out thanks

How about the cam position sensor? They will course a no start but usually when it goes that's it.

I know it sound like a dome question but where is this sensor located , and do you think that can be the main problem or it can be some else thanks for your quick response

Check your coils pack and wiring that's why will not spark to start

If is not the is your crank sensor. Have you check your fuel pump presor?

I replaced the ignition switch on my 99 firebird had new key made. when i put the new switch in it worked fine then i hooked the battery up let it set over night now i cant get the key to turn or do anything
