Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Two weeks after replacing door speaker wire, the driver side window stopped working:
stuck in down position.
No sound emitting from door.
How to trouble shoot and/ or determine faulty part?
Thank you.

First thing to check would be your main driver control switch for power,at that window. If you have power, bad switch or motor bad.

You may have pulled a window wire when you installed the speaker wire. Remove the door panel and re-check your wiring. You may have pulled a wire off the door switch or off the motor by accident. As above, check for 12v getting to the motor. If none, work backward to each connection and watch for a loose or broken connector.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately the window problem is taking a back seat to the front end and tranny issues as far spending (and having) time on it. But I will follow your helpful instructions when I turn to THAT problem. Cheers.
