Installing a turbocharger

Asked by Birdfella86 Apr 02, 2019 at 08:33 PM about the 1996 Ford Thunderbird LX RWD

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 1986 Thunderbird 5.0. Can I turbocharge it without
burning it down?

Keep the boost down low, maybe 4 psi or so. Look into water/alcohol injection.

A better option in my opinion is to supercharge. Procharger etc.

I didn't say in my original question, but the engine is not H.O. Will that make a difference in my options?

I don't think so but engines with higher air flow capability will benefit more from forced induction.
