My Ford Taurus SHO 3.4 liter 8. The fuel pump electrical line grounded. So, know the coil pack at the 3, 6,7 and 8 are not firing. Where do the electrical line from the coil pack run to because I thing that where i need to start. I have replace the old fuel pump as well.

That's quite the pickle. Did some checking and that v-8 is from pass to drivers 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 on the back and 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 on the front. It seems wierd that you would lose some from each bank rather than one complete bank. Since 6,7 and 8 are easy ish to get at check the wiring for damage. Maybe swap 5 and 6 to see if the coils failed?? I have no experience with this motor but my next move would be the ignition control module if the packs have power. Since half are still firing I doubt it would be the computer or cam position sensor but are possibilities.
