My security light does not stop blinking and it's preventing my car from starting. It does nothing when using the alarm remote to disable.... Any ideas on how to stop it from blinking?

1) is the battery in the remote good ? 2) If so, try disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds.

Yes, the battery in the remote is good. We've tried umhookjng the battery to reset the computer, but still nothing.

Turn the key to the on position. Wait 10 minutes. Turn to off position. Your car will then start.
