Car has no power after attempting to jumpstart..

Got in my car this morning to discover (what I thought) was a dead battery.
The battery is only 6 mos old however. A dome light might have been on
however. Tried to jump the car, and initially it revived the car somewhat. Had
dome lights and it almost started. Hubby suggested I had the cables on loose
so I jiggled them, got a few sparks so quit. Now the car is DEAD. No
domelights, nothing. Tried jumping car from battery under seat as well as
under hood. Nothing. There's got to be a fuse? That I fried or??

start by replacing the battery. not a charged one, or refurbished one. gotta buy a brand new one. that's your cheapest way out. then try alternator, then starter.

You need to clean and tighten the battery connections. Buy a terminal cleaning tool and use a wrench to tighten the cable ends. If you can't tighten them you may need new cables or new bolts.
