Engine swap

Just did a successful engine swap on my 03
pointaic bonneville for the most part. It will not
start with the key now, only from under the hood.
Also the security light is on. What can cause this,
how is it fixed?

Did you swap over the engine/powertrain control module? If you did, it needs to be mated with the passive anti-theft system module/passlock. It will need to be reprogrammed, at the dealer or locksmiths
