How do u check if ignition is faulty?

Car doesn't do anything in start
position.Checked the fuse,battery,and
starter.

First I would double check battery connections and then test the solenoid wire on starter for 12 volts when key is in start position. If no voltage then I would double check fuses and neutral safety switch.

For giggles might want to move gear shift to neutral and try to start it. Then move gear shift back to park. Try to start it again.
