Check if the water is anti-freeze, if it is check the area near the heater core, it may have developed a small leak (as well as check level of coolant). If it is water, and you suspect a leaky door or window seal, you can get color water-soluble dye packs at most auto parts places, put them along a window or door seam and hose it down, if you see the color on the inside then you know you have a leak. (they come in different colors so you can make it easier to isolate where a leak may be.)
