Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've been pretty strapped for cash, so the car needs a new battery. I boosted it
yesterday to move it, and the stereo didn't come on. No sound no lights,
nothing. It was working perfectly fine up to that point. The system is all still
stock. However, the lower half with the controls for the heat and A/C light up
and function fine. Is this an easy fix?

Check your fuse box . Should be blue 15 amp fuse . Typically it operates cigarette lighter too so test to see if you got power there as well.
