What's the name of this hose and can someone tell me where the other end goes into the engine??

Please. This is causing my air leak and I can't get my car to
start without putting the other end in. I've been looking for
hours and can't find the hole...

it goes from valve cover to intake manifold and puts heat from the engine to the intake manifold. some would put an oil catchcan there to prevent oil from being sucked in.
