Ford van wont start after putting new starter
but turns over but won't start

I also have a 1995 club wagon it's our church van it was running and all of a sudden would not start you could bang on it with something and it would start we had someone put a starter on and now it won't start ...also when you used the AC the black wire from starter would be really hot and it would not start for a while help....our church needs our van
