Ford e150 2002 drivers front brake shutter

Asked by GuruZV9PP Nov 18, 2017 at 08:39 AM about the 2000 Ford E-Series E-150 STD Econoline

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have a 2002 e150 conversion van.  When
applying brajes the front drivers side seems to
make a thunk thunk thunk sound and shudder. We
have replaced rotors and pads twice, upper and
lower tie rods, caliber, brake line and still have the
same situation.  When testing the control arm and
sway they liked good.  Any thoughts?  It's driving us
nuts

Bob, we have replaced the bearing as well. As to the ABS, wouldn't we get a code? The ball joints looked good bUT we will double check based on that video. Thank you!
