My 2001 E350 Club Wagon XLT AC only blows about 50 degrees from the dash & 60 degrees from the rear.

Asked by jsouth111 Jun 07, 2013 at 02:16 AM about the 2001 Ford E-Series E-350 Super Duty XLT Extended Passenger Van

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced the compressor, condenser, accumilator, orfice tube, flushed the system & checked the heater control valve at rear evaporator. I've watched the engine fan and the clutch does not appear to be slipping.
On cooler days and at night time system seems to work much better. But during hot Texas days it doesn't work very good.

I'd check and adjust the coolant pressure...might be overcharged which ices evaporator and does not broil the condenser~ It is a balance between low and high pressure sides...be sure that the amount is not over- full~/over pressure...that'd do it~
