Can you unplug abs wires from control module and have dependable brakes rather than spen 500 to a K to repair?

I unplugged the wire harnesses from my abs hydrolic control module. All symptoms and a
diagnostic said it is why my brake pedal goes to the floor and of recent does not stop the
van.  After unplugging I can stop the van but have to pump the brakes to get them to bite.
Could this simply be are in the lines? Do I need new booster?

Disabling ABS is not going to solve this. You can safely disable ABS in a working system and probably never even notice except in a panic stop. But this sounds like air in system, even a bad booster will cause hard pedal but not have to pump
