Why does my van keep stalling out every time I press the brake

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1999 Plymouth Voyager keeps stalling
out every time I press the brakes to slow
down, stop, or decelerate. Will idle while in
park or nutural. Any ideas. I'm a single older

There could be a leak in your brake booster therefore resulting in a vacuum leak. Either the entire diaphragm has a leak or one of the hoses leading the booster itself. Then the vacuum leak itself can cause your engine to stall.
