Does my 95 cutlass ceira have struts or shocks in the rear ?

McPherson struts are one-piece units- shock and spring come out as one and are then taken apart on a workbench- you have shocks in the back of your car that can come out and be replaced by themselves- struts are almost always only on the front of front-wheel drive cars- look up under the rear- if you see shocks inside the springs, it may take more labor costs to slightly disassemble the rear suspension-
