1996 Mustang Alternator not charging ONLY when cold (60 degrees or less) outside or night time.

Im located in Barstow Can where I can
honestly say its not that cold in
comparison. However I've noticed over a
period of 2 months dealing with this issue
that when its night time or cold outside my
Alternator will not kick in when my car is
started. All other functions will work 100
percent off the time during the day and
even start 100 percent at night, but
consistently the battery meter reads at the
N at night and supported by dimming lights
and slow window rollup. I've replaced both
the battery and alternator several times,
rewired both terminal connections, and
check all fuses. What could cause such
calculated interference that would only
occur at night or when cold? In the day time
I can drive miles with no issues. Please
help!

I KNOW exactly what it is happened to my jeep Cherokee everything would dim down. It is the serpentine belt. It is slipping give it a good tighten or replace the belt I guarantee you that is the problem.
