..i have a 1996 ford explorer xlt awd v8 dose anyone know how to tell if its a 5.o liter or 4 ?? think they may have been a replaced moter befor i got it

If memory serves my 96 was available with only two engines, the 5.0 v8 and the 4.0 v6. Unless someone did a change out in the past 20 years.

I have an AWD 1996 Ford Explorer and the AWD that year are V8s and all V8s that year are 5.0s.
