no power no start

my friends truck does not have any power running from the battery on its own, it has no lights or starter response, when jump started it continues to run on its own with no problems as long as you do not shut it down. battery and alternator are recently replaced and both test out fine can anyone help with suggestions on wher to check next

You can check the battery terminals for any damage (cracks, pits, ext), corrosion or incorrect connection. That's the only thing I can think of, because the same happened to me.
