nisan maxima 1991 brake light won't go on

Checked switch OK, new bulbs but not on ,Please help

the system ground is corroded...wirebrush the end of the 1/0 black cable and the frame that it bolts to...restore the full 12.5 volts at 300 cold cranking amps potential...this ground also serves the chassis (where the blubus are located)~
