nissan maxima 1994 Has no power and turns off after driving for a while when parked i give it gas and is slow to raise the rpms and feels rough what could it be?

check your battery first. if it is good then it could need ignition coils, spark plugs, a knock sensor or a cam sensor. all are easy to fix by yourself except the knock sensor(you must have the right tools) and order the parts from carparts.com or get the parts and do it yourself by looking on line and it shows you exactly how to fix it. good luck
