What all needs to be done to tune up my 1996 Ford Bronco EB? Thanks! :-)

here is a list of what I call a complete tune up: Spark plugs Spark plug wires Cap and rotor (if equipt) air filter fuel filter oil change PCV valve I clean the throttle body/intake tire air pressure grease all truck points an extra item is a fuel injetor flush. and if you haven't flushed you rad/engine yet I would do that as well, not just drain the rad but flush the whole system. Not sure where you live but parts for this truck is fairly good (cheap). and if you can do most of this work yourself you can save a little more.

casper is correct;use plugs specificaly for this vehicle, dont experiment.plug gap very important,ensure that "base" ignition timing is correct;follow instructions on tune-up sticker under hood . timing setting procedure is very specific and not open to discussion. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER dont cut corners.do it right, you will be pleased with results

Second, the complete tune-up project includes a new high-performance ignition coil (e.g., Accel #140012) to replace the factory unit, new high-performance 8mm or 9mm ignition wires (I use Ford #M-12259-M301), new Autolite #25 copper plugs gapped @ .050", a new quality distributor cap and rotor (I installed a new MSD #8482 cap, rotor, and plug wire “retainer” which holds the plug wires down onto the terminals,) and the ignition timing advanced from 10° BTDC up to 13°-14° BTDC! An amazing increase in performance with some great parts! Good luck.
