when you turn the ingnition on the control unit runs the pump a few seconds unless it senses a running engine then it lets it continue, a safety measure so in a crash the engine stops ,the signal is lost and the pump shuts down to not burn down the neighbors hood
so which sensor is likely not sending right signal
