Where under dash, what side or in the middle and is that the actual part name?

It is an electrical part that controls the direction of air flow by your selection. Some are called AC blend actuator module, Blend door actuator module. I got mine at the locale parts store, probably on yours it would be located more in the middle under the dash, if you can follow the main air intake vent from the fire wall to where the heat comes out onto the floor you should find it along the way. An experienced parts guy can tell you exactly where it is.
