Car starts just need to be patient

Asked by DaveyD58 Mar 02, 2017 at 07:42 PM about the 1997 Ford Thunderbird LX RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I turn the ignition and the car t7rns over just like it is going to start but doesn't.  
If I turn the ignition on and let it set for a minute or two and turn it it takes right
off. Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Could be fuel related. Change out the fuel filter first, then have the fuel pressure checked. Could have a bad fuel regulator.
