Check hybrid system

Asked by Fitgalfl Oct 04, 2022 at 07:19 PM about the 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car was parked outside during hurricane Ian.
Not sure how high the water came up but

The interior of the car was dry.  The car would
not start and the check hybrid system
appears.  The auxiliary battery (about a year
old) was wet when I opened the cover - I
assume from water blowing in through the
seam in the bumper.   I tried jumping it when it
dried out with no luck.   The car was running
perfectly fine just - the hybrid battery was
replaced about 4 years ago and the car was
serviced within the last year.  Issue is definitely
storm related but not sure how the hybrid
system could have been affected if the interior
of the car is dry.  Any ideas,  looking into
having the car towed but hoping it’s just
something simple or perhaps just letting it dry
out
