How I remove the panel of the rear door in a Ford Taurus 1997? My window doesn't go up and not sure what's the problem.

I have a 2003 Taurus, and what I did was: 1) remove screws in door panel and armrest (should be 1 screw in center of arm in the hole for your fingers, and 2 (or 3) screws along the bottom of the panel). 2) use a flat prybar (plastic or tape-wrapped metal one) to slowly work loose the plastic pushpins. These are not visible, you'll have to feel for where they are as you work the panel towards you. Get the prybar close and wedge it forward, but take care not to break them. 3) the top edge of the panel hooks over the door edge, along the bottom edge of the window. The panel will pivot out from the bottom and you can then lift it up and over this lip. As you do this you'll have to maneuver it around the interior door handle, the lock button at the top, and you'll have to reach behind to undo the wiring harness in the armrest. If, by chance, you do break one of the plastic pushpins, you can buy new ones at NAPA. They usually have a better selection for that type of part than Autozone, Advance, Pepboys, and O'Rielly. Good luck!

Thank you very much. Any suggestions about the troubleshooting to see what could be wrong? Either the motor or the relay?

It's often a bad regulator, which is around a 50-60 part, you can remove the panel and just make sure nothing got bound up, or any riveted joints haven't come apart, you can, with the panel removed, easily check the motor is working or not.
