i have a 1997 ford taraus and i have changed one o2 sencor and have done the wires and the plugs in it as well i really havent had any problems with it till now i reset it and the service engine light

To expand on Tom's answer, there are specific codes for each sensor. Coming back with them will point him in the right direction. How many miles are on the car and how far have you driven since replacing the sensor? Did you replace the upstream or downstream sensor? Good Luck!
