Does my Taurus have shaken baby syndrome?

MY 1997 Ford Taurus has less than 90 thousand miles.  I have replaced the
radiator, u joints engine mounts, inner and outer tie rods,alternator, brain,
steering pump and rack and pinion, wires plugs etc.  I have had the transmission
rebuilt and all in three years.  The steering pump appears to be going out again
(third one).  Has my taurus been dropped from height, is there a curse or hex or
do I need to consult a voodoo priest?  My mechanic is stumped and embarrassed
at how much I'm spending.  It seems to be a nice car but it is turning into a pimp.

97 was the worst year for the taurus,but it should not have all these problems,sounds like your mechanic has his hand in your wallet.

My nephew is working for practically nothing and the parts are at cost. The problems seems to stem from the brain and it's dealings with the rest of the car. I need to know if there is a special Ford dealership computer program that resets the brain or should I just try catapulting this ford into a junk yard?

well for the power steering try to get the rack and pinion looked at i have a 93 sho model and i had to replace that i also have a 97 gl model with 210000 miles on it and mines not all that bad but the tranny sliping hard and a spring busted in the rear

What does the car do wrong that makes u think all this stuff is wrong, sounds like to much guessing is going on and not enough diagnosis
