Question type: Car Customization

I have a 2001 Nissan Maxima with a blown engine. . The car was driven without oil or something. . im not really sure what happened to the car, but does anyone know if its easy and wise to install a 3.5 motor in a 2001 Maxima with the stock 2001 5 spd transmission? ? does anyone know if this is even possible ? ? I can get the motor with no problem but need to find the answer to my concern. . thank you in advance for any help. .
